The Pergola Piano is a manually operated louvered-roof pergola in powder-coated aluminum. Turn the crank to open the louvers for sunlight and airflow, or close them fully for a waterproof roof — rainwater is channelled away through downpipes integrated in the posts.

Delivered and assembled by our own team across Ontario, up to 300 km from our showrooms. Delivery is quoted by distance and confirmed before you order. Pickup can be arranged from either showroom — just ask.
Damaged or defective on arrival? We cover it — repair, replace, or refund, at no cost to you.
Change of mind? Return within 14 days in original condition. A 20% restocking fee applies and return transport is the customer's responsibility.

Wind Resistance & Snow Load
The Pergola Piano is engineered for year-round outdoor use. Its aluminum frame and louvered roof are rated for wind speeds of up to 110 km/h — storm-force conditions — and carry a snow load of 65 – 120 kg/m² depending on the size.
Closed, the louvers form a waterproof roof that drains rainwater through the integrated gutters and posts. In winter, simply tilt the louvers open so snow falls through instead of resting on the roof.

What is a louvered pergola?
A pergola with an adjustable slatted roof. Rotate the louvers to let in sunlight and fresh air, or close them completely for shade and shelter.
Is the roof waterproof?
Yes. With the louvers fully closed the roof is waterproof. The integrated drainage system channels rainwater through the gutter profiles and down through the posts, so your terrace furniture stays dry.
What is the difference between Piano and Equa?
Piano has a manual louvered roof operated with a crank — three sizes, LED optional. Equa is the flagship: an electric roof with remote control, integrated LED and curved louvers, in nine sizes including 11' widths.

Should I choose a manual or an electric roof?
A manual roof (Pergola Piano) is completely independent of any power source: no wiring, nothing to install electrically, and the optimised crank system opens and closes the louvers smoothly with minimal effort. It's the most cost-efficient route to the same sun and rain protection.
An electric roof (Pergola Equa) adjusts at the touch of a button on the remote — ideal if you fine-tune the louvers often or want integrated LED lighting for the evenings.
How much wind and snow can the pergolas handle?
All models are engineered for wind speeds up to 110 km/h. For snow, the Piano carries 65 – 120 kg/m² depending on size, and the electric models carry 160 – 320 kg/m² per size — you'll find the exact table on each product page.
In heavy snowfall we recommend tilting the louvers to the vertical position, so snow falls through instead of resting on the roof.
What are the pergolas made of?
High-strength, powder-coated aluminum. It is rustproof, UV-resistant and fully recyclable — built for year-round exposure to coastal local weather without staining, sealing or repainting.
Do aluminum pergolas require much maintenance?
No. The powder-coated aluminum construction is maintenance-free — no staining, sealing or repainting needed.
Can I install the pergola myself?
Yes — the system is designed for DIY assembly, with clear English instructions and all fittings included. For the manual Piano, two people typically assemble a standard size in 3 to 5 hours. For the electric models, plan a full day with three people.
What kind of surface does the pergola need?
A stable, level base such as a concrete foundation, stone terrace tiles or a solid wooden deck. The posts are bolted down firmly to guarantee wind stability.
Do the electric models need special wiring?
Only a standard 230 V connection for the motor and LED lighting. We recommend having the fixed wiring connected by a qualified electrician. The manual Piano needs no power at all.
Can screens, shutters, heating or lighting be added?
Yes. Retractable screens (manual or solar-powered), sliding shutters, infrared heaters and LED lighting are available and can also be added later — every model is compatible with the full accessory range.
What warranty do the pergolas come with?
You get a 5-year warranty on the aluminum structure and a 2-year warranty on the roof mechanism — the crank system on the Piano, and the motor unit and electronic components on the electric models. The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects.
